in late 2007, the merge of two independent record labels named the start of the new neopop area of 'eccentric'. with the name inspired by both the unique preformances and style senses of the artists, eccentric also labels the unique 'sub labels' of the company. under the eccentric label, every artists is divided up accordingly with each different sub group. each and every artist is put up against each other's throats in a constant competition. it's a dog eat dog world after all.
it all started with the meeting of two people; yoo shiyeon and seo dae-hyun. they both owned two different record labels, both known around seoul, south korea quite well. the two had become friends and eventually merged the two record labels into one, calling it 'eccentric'. after constant complications, the two soon came to despise each other, constantly arguing. but instead of breaking the record label back into two (because of the many unique artists signed on to it and the possible bankruptcy that would result), they divided the record label up into two different sub domains. one for shiyeon, the other for dae-hyun. the singers and dancers get sorted into the two domains according on their impression that they put on, or if they are talented in singing and dancing. shiyeon takes the talents, dae-hyun takes the impressions. the two sub domains are at each other's throats (including the head of the label) ; always trying to prove one side better than the other.
